I’ve decided to start the Dune series by Frank Herbert.

This is my 21st century way of starting The Hunger Games.

Now onto this.

I will admit that I wouldn’t have heard about this book if it weren’t for the movie. However, since Tilda Swinton was snubbed for best actress I think I’ll just read the book and maybe see the movie at a later date if I feel it necessary.

Finished this just a few hours ago.

After some time to process, I’ve decided I love it. Books make me feel many thing, but I’ve never actually cried while reading until now…

Excited to see the movie (for the Oscars, honestly I don’t know if I would if that wasn’t the case) and trying not to let murmurs of bad reviews cloud my judgement.
